Google Calendar Integration

Written by Kayla Latta

The Google Calendar integration automatically syncs important transaction dates from Sisu to Google Calendar, helping your team stay on top of key milestones without manually creating calendar events. As dates are added or updated in Sisu, the corresponding all-day events are automatically created or updated in a shared transaction calendar. Admins can choose which date fields to sync, customize how dates are labeled, and control who receives calendar invitations.

Features

→ Automatically Sync Transaction Dates

The integration automatically creates and updates Google Calendar events for selected date fields in Sisu, including both standard and custom intake form date fields.

Automatic Calendar Invitations

Calendar invitations can be automatically sent to:

  • Assigned Agent

  • Assigned TC

  • Client

  • Second Contact

  • Additional email addresses configured by your team, such as a shared team calendar or Admin user

→ Customize Synced Dates

Admins can:

  • Choose which Sisu date fields sync to Google Calendar.

  • Assign custom display names to synced date fields so they appear with labels that match your team's workflow.

  • Optionally include the current transaction status in the calendar event description.

→ Automatic Event Maintenance

The integration keeps Google Calendar synchronized with Sisu by automatically:

  • Creating events when selected dates are added.

  • Updating events when synced dates change.

  • Optionally removing events when a synced date is cleared, the transaction is marked as Lost, or the transaction is deleted.

Limitations

Before enabling the integration, keep the following limitations in mind:

  • Calendar invitations are sent from the shared Transaction Dates calendar rather than an individual user's Google account.

  • Only date fields within Sisu intake forms are supported. Sisu tasks are not currently synced to Google Calendar.

  • Calendar event titles and descriptions use Sisu's default formatting and cannot currently be customized, with the exception of custom labels assigned to synced date fields.

How to Enable the Integration

The Google Calendar integration is configured by the Sisu team based on your organization's preferences.

To get started, contact your Account Manager and let them know you'd like to enable the Google Calendar integration. They'll work with you to configure the integration, including:

  • Which Sisu date fields should sync to Google Calendar.

  • Whether custom date field labels should be used.

  • Who should automatically receive calendar invitations.

  • Whether calendar events should be removed when dates are cleared or transactions are marked Lost or deleted.

  • Whether the current transaction status should be included in calendar event descriptions.

If you're not sure how to contact your Account Manager, send our team a message via the chat bubble in Sisu and we can get you connected. 💬
