Deleting Transactions

This article explains how different user roles are able to delete transactions in Sisu.

Admin & TC Users: Deleting Transactions

⚠️ Deleted transactions are permanently removed and cannot be recovered. Only delete transactions that are truly erroneous (for example, duplicates or transactions created by mistake). If a client decides not to move forward, mark the transaction as Lost instead. Lost transactions remain in your reports and can be restored later.

To delete a transaction:

  1. Navigate to the Transactions Page.

  2. Locate the transaction you'd like to delete.

  3. From the Edit actions menu, select Delete from the list of options.

  4. In the pop-up, click Yes to permanently delete the transaction.

Managing Agent Delete Permissions

Admin and TC users can control whether Agent users are able to delete transactions. To adjust this setting:

  1. In the Transaction Preference Settings section, locate the “Allow Agent users to permanently delete transactions” setting

  2. Toggle to Enabled.

To delete a transaction:

  1. Navigate to the Transactions Page.

  2. Locate the transaction you'd like to delete.

  3. From the Edit actions menu, select Delete from the list of options.

    ⚠️ If you do not see the Delete option, your team has not enabled permission for your role. Please reach out to your team owner or Admin for further assistance.

  4. In the pop-up, click Yes to permanently delete the transaction.
