Use the table of contents on the right side of the screen to jump to a particular topic.

Adding a New Transaction

1. In the top-right corner, click the plus icon. This opens the Add New Transaction screen.

2. Click the Transaction Type drop-down and select an option.

3. Click the Transaction Form drop-down and select a form from the list. This allows you to specify which form you use to create the new transaction.

4. In the Add Contact field, enter the name or email of your client. Click the name of the client when it appears in the drop-down menu (see screenshot below). If the drop-down instead says "No contact found," your client doesn't exist in the system yet. See the green section below to create a new contact.

Adding a New Contact to Sisu

When you add a new contact to Sisu, you're attaching basic contact information to a client's name. Then the next time you need to create a new transaction for that client, their intake forms will be automatically filled out with the client's name and their contact information.

To create a new contact, do the following:

1. Click the Create Contact button. This opens the Create New Contact window.

2. Fill out all fields provided and click Submit. Skip to step 6 below.

5. Click the Create Transaction button. This opens the form you selected in step 3. Contact information is automatically filled in.

6. Fill out all required fields and any others that apply to the transaction. Required fields are bolded.

⚠️ Important Note!

Your transaction is created but it isn't saved yet! At this point in the process, if you navigate to another part of Sisu without saving, the transaction will disappear.

7. Click Save Changes at the bottom of the screen. This saves your transaction in Sisu and adds it to the Transactions screen.

Why are some of the fields a different color?

These date fields are a different color to highlight their importance in Sisu. The color you see will reflect the primary theme color for your team. These fields are important for the following 2 reasons:

1. These fields affect the transaction status: If you update a highlighted field and then click Save Changes at the bottom of the form, the transaction's status changes as well.

Sisu Date Field

Status Change in Sisu

1st Time Appt Set

Updating this field changes the status to Appt Set.

1st Time Appt Met

Updating this field changes the status to Appt Met.

1st Showing Date

Updating this field changes the status to 1st Time Showing.

1st Offer Date

Updating this field changes the status to 1st Time Offer.

Signed Date

Updating this field changes the status to Signed.

Under Contract Date

Updating this field changes the status to Pending.

Closed (Settlement) Date

Updating this field changes the status to Closed.

⚠️ Important Note!

If any of these fields is not present in at least 1 form in Sisu, the corresponding status won't appear in the Status drop-down. For example, if the Signed Date field isn't present in any form, the transaction won't be able to have a status of Signed.

2. These fields affect the Dashboard: These date fields all have related goals that you can find on the Goals screen. This is why their progress is tracked and displayed on the Dashboard. So when you enter a date in one of these highlighted date fields, the count on the corresponding pacer circle on the Dashboard increases by 1.

Example

For example, if you enter a date for 1st Time Appt Met and the client is a buyer, the count on the Buyer Appointments Met pacer circle increases by 1.
