Skyslope Integration

Sisu’s integration with SkySlope makes it easier for agents, teams, and administrators to eliminate manual data entry and leverage data across systems. When integrated with Sisu, the data becomes even more impactful, streamlining operations and enhancing productivity.

Topics in this article:

Current Limitations

  • This is a 1 way integration syncing from Sisu to Skyslope.

  • The integration supports one SkySlope office per Sisu team. To connect multiple SkySlope offices, you'll need separate Sisu teams for each. Note: Agents working across multiple Skyslope offices will need unique logins for each Sisu team to ensure accurate commissions and splits.

  • The SkySlope API currently doesn't allow us to send completed listing transaction data—like the closing date—back to SkySlope. As a result, we can't automatically update a SkySlope listing to a transaction status. This means certain listing fields will still need to be manually entered in SkySlope for now.

  • If a transaction is canceled in SkySlope, Sisu can no longer sync with it or reactivate it through the integration. To work around this, slightly modify the address in Sisu and resubmit it to SkySlope to create a new transaction.

  • Some SkySlope configurations require lenders ("Mortgage" type in Sisu) to have complete contact information (Contact Name, Contact Phone Number, and Contact Email) filled out in the vendor profile within Sisu. This can be entered by navigating to Admin > Vendors > Edit in Sisu. This requirement is set by SkySlope and cannot be bypassed. If data in any of these fields are missing, SkySlope will reject the transaction data sent from Sisu.

Prerequisites

You must complete these 2 items prior to setting up the integration:

Verify your users in Skyslope have matching first/last names and email addresses in Sisu. The actions of users that don't have matching information aren't recognized by the integration.

In the chat bubble in the bottom-right corner of Sisu, ask our support team to enable the Skyslope integration. 💬

Setting Up The Integration

Follow these steps to setup the integration:

SkySlope API Configuration

  1. In Sisu, navigate to Admin > Skyslope.

  2. Open another browser tab and login to Skyslope.

  3. Click your name in the upper, right hand corner and select My Account from the dropdown menu.

  4. Select the Integrations tab.

  5. Click the Generate New Key button.

ℹ️ Please note: To set up the integration, your SkySlope API Key and Secret must be generated by a Broker/Auditor or a Limited TC user—Agent accounts don’t have enough access. If using a Limited TC user, they must be the only one in your SkySlope account, as they can only create or access files they’re assigned to and can't create files for other Limited TC users. Also, all Agent users must have "Allow TC Access" enabled in their SkySlope "My Account" settings. For full access, it's recommended to use a Broker/Auditor account if possible.

  6. To the right of the Access Key, click Copy.

  7. In Sisu, in the SkySlope API Configuration section, paste the Access Key into the Access Key field.

  8. In Skyslope, to the right of the Secret, click Copy.

  9. In Sisu, in the SkySlope API Configuration section, paste the Secret into the Access Secret field.

  10. Click the Test Skyslope API Connection button.

  11. Click the Save Credentials button.

Sisu Team / SkySlope Office Mapping

From the dropdown, select the Skyslope Office you'd like to integrate with Sisu.

Preferences

Many brokerages and teams (e.g., eXp, Realty ONE) assign the broker-owner as the Primary Agent in SkySlope, but this can impact agent-level reporting in Sisu. If the broker-owner must be listed as the owner of all transactions in SkySlope, be sure to make this selection in the Primary Agent dropdown in the SkySlope configuration to preserve accurate metrics in Sisu.

Matched Users

To sync users via the integration, they must exist in SkySlope under the same office and use the exact same email address as in Sisu. Alternatively, you can specify a matching SkySlope email as an Alternate Email Address in Sisu, which will take priority when linking users. This setting is located under Admin > Users > Edit.

Sisu automatically updates user matching with SkySlope every 30 minutes. To allow new users to submit updates to SkySlope right away, you can manually trigger the sync by clicking the Re-match Users button.

Syncing Transactions

Creating A New Skyslope Transaction

It's quick and easy to sync your transaction data from Sisu to Skyslope. Just follow the steps below!

  1. Navigate to the Transactions Page and click on a transaction to open it.

  2. From the top toolbar within the transaction, select the Skyslope Form.

When you open the SkySlope Form the integration immediately attempts to match the Sisu transaction with an existing SkySlope transaction. Sisu tries to match existing SkySlope transactions based on the selected Transaction Type and what is entered in the Address Line 1 field.

If a match is found, this direct link to the SkySlope transaction will appear at the top of the form: Click to quickly access the transaction in your Skyslope account.

You'll see this text at the top of the Skyslope Form when a transaction has not been synced to Skyslope yet:

  3. To sync your transaction to Skyslope you'll need to complete all required fields on the form. Required fields are designated with bold text and a red asterisk. Input data into any non-required fields as desired.

  4. Click Submit at the bottom of the form to sync your transaction to Skyslope.

Once the transaction has synced to Skyslope you'll see the direct link at the top of the Skyslope form: Click to quickly access the transaction in your Skyslope account.

Updating A Skyslope Transaction

You can easily update the Skyslope transaction by editing any fields in the Sisu Skyslope Form and clicking Submit. The changes will automatically sync.

ℹ️ When submitting the SkySlope form for a buyer, you may notice that Listing Agent Commission % (LAC %) and Seller Phone are required fields. These requirements come from SkySlope, not Sisu. Understanding and entering this data ensures a smooth sync with SkySlope.

Sending Documents

Currently, the integration does not support transferring documents from SkySlope to the Sisu transaction.

To send documents from the Sisu transaction to the Skyslope transaction follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the Transactions Page and click on a transaction to open it.

  2. Select Documents from the transaction toolbar at the top.

  3. Click the checkbox to the left of the document(s) you'd like to send.

  4. Click the Send Files button.

  5. Complete the following fields:

    • Send To (Other): This is where you would input the Skyslope transaction email address.

    • Send Files As Attachments (checkbox): You'll want to check this box as documents will send as file links instead of attachments if this box is not checked.

  6. Click the Send Documents button.
