In this article we will discuss how to set up and utilize both the Transaction Stages Board and the Transaction Statuses Board.

Topics in this article:

Transaction Stages Board

The Transaction Stages Board is a place where you can create custom swim lanes to manage transactions from pending to close.

This board view empowers you to drag and drop transactions to new Stages as they move towards completion. Click on the transaction card to quickly view transaction details, make Comments, navigate to Tasks or open the transaction.

In order to get the Transaction Stages Board up and running, complete the following processes to make sure your stages, tags, and dates are set up.

Customizing Transaction Stages

By default, there are 5 sample Stages that you can use to take a transaction from pending to close (or even pre-contract or post closing). If these Stages make sense for your workflows, keep them. Otherwise, you can edit, remove, or add additional stages as you would like to see them in the platform. Once you have them added, sort them in the appropriate order of your workflows, and feel free to adjust the colors!

To customize the name, color, or order of your transaction Stages just navigate to Admin > Tasks > Transaction Stages.

πŸ”Έ How can I create a new Stage?

  1. Navigate to Admin > Tasks > Transaction Stages

  2. In the upper, right hand corner click the 'Add New' button

  3. A new Stage will auto populate at the top of the list. You'll want to edit the Stage name (and possibly the color as well!)

πŸ”Έ How can I change the order of my Stages?

To rearrange the order of your Stages, drag and drop them in the order want or adjust the order via the numeric boxes.

πŸ”Έ How can I edit an existing Stage?

  1. Navigate to Admin > Tasks > Transaction Stages

  2. Edit the Stage Name by clicking into the box in the Stage Name column

  3. Edit the Stage color by clicking the color box in the Color column

Customizing Transaction Tags

Tags can be utilized to provide additional ways to track items within a transaction. For example, when you're still waiting for the agent/team to get paid, you could include the tag "Waiting on Payment."

Transaction Statuses Board

The Transaction Statuses Board allows you to easily view and manage transactions as they move from Pipeline to Closed.

You're able to drag and drop transactions to new Statuses as they move towards completion. Click on the transaction card to quickly view transaction details, make Comments, navigate to Tasks or open the transaction.

Filters are available allowing you to narrow down the transactions listed on the board by selecting specific Users or Groups and/or Transaction Type (Buyer or Seller).

Adding Dates To Your Boards

Admins and TC users can customize what fields appear on the Transaction Stages Board and Transaction Status Board cards. To do so just follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to Admin > Team Settings > Transaction Boards

  2. From the Available Fields section on the left you can select a field to move to the Displayed Fields section. You can also drag and drop fields!
