Topics in this article:
Setting Your Team's Delivery Window
Navigate to Admin > Team Settings > Profile to set your team’s delivery window for Task Notifications. The hours you select determine when notifications are sent. If a notification is triggered outside this window, it will be delivered at the start of the next available window.
👉 Example: If your delivery window is 8 AM–5 PM and a Task Notification is triggered at 10 PM, it will be sent the following morning at 8 AM.
Selecting Blackout Days
Navigate to Admin > Team Settings > Notifications to manage the Daily Task Reminder and Blackout Days.
The Daily Task Reminder applies only to assigned tasks. Enable this setting to have team members receive a daily email reminder for any tasks that are due or overdue.
Blackout Days are exceptions to your delivery window, meaning Task Notifications will not be sent on these dates. You can select specific holidays, days of the week, or create custom blackout dates by clicking the Add New button
.
ℹ️ Note: To prevent an individual Notification from sending on weekends, simply check the “Adhere to Business Hours” box when creating or editing the Notification. More information on creating/editing Task Notifications can be found in this KB article. 📙
Due dates on Task Notifications that follow business hours reflect the team’s selected Blackout Days. If a due date is adjusted because of a Blackout Day, an asterisk appears next to the date. Hovering over the asterisk displays a pop-up message: “Date changed due to Blackout Days.”
Customizing Sending Within Task Notifications
Adhere To Business Hours
You can set individual Task Notifications to Adhere to Business Hours, ensuring they are sent only within your team’s specified delivery window.
To enable or disable this option, check or uncheck the Adhere to Business Hours box when creating or editing a Task Notification. Navigate to Admin > Tasks > Edit Tasks to access this setting.
Auto-Send
The Auto-Send toggle lets you control whether a Task Notification is sent automatically by the system or only manually by a team member. You can enable or disable this option when creating or editing a Task Notification by navigating to Admin > Tasks > Edit Tasks.
Click to Send: Disables automatic sending. The Notification will only be sent manually from the Transaction’s Tasks or the Send Queue.
Auto-Send: The default option for all existing Task Notifications and for new ones, allowing the system to send them automatically.
