Use Cases For Grouping Users

You might be asking yourself, “Why would I group my agents together?” The answer is simple: Groups unlock powerful ways to organize, track, and optimize performance across your brokerage. By segmenting agents in meaningful ways, you can drive clarity, accountability, and collaboration.

Here are some of the most common use cases:

  • Multi-location: Organize agents by office or branch to streamline reporting and compare performance across locations.

  • Coaching: Pair agents with their coach to monitor progress, provide accountability, and support growth.

  • Teams: Create groups for the teams within your brokerage and give coaches visibility for complete transaction management.

  • Challenges: Set up groups for friendly competitions that drive engagement and boost productivity.

  • Commissions: Group agents by compensation plans to gain actionable insights into commission reporting.

  • Territory: Segment agents by their farming areas to encourage collaboration and ensure market coverage.

  • Specializations: Organize agents by role or focus area (buyers’ agents, listing agents, ISAs, or admins) for more efficient reporting and task management.

Restrictions / Settings

Assigning A Group Coach

When creating or editing a Group, you’ll see a Coach column. Selecting this option for a user grants them coaching access to all other users in the Group.

Coaching access allows the coach to view group members’ data, including transactions and activity metrics. This is especially useful for team leads, partners, or anyone responsible for monitoring performance and providing guidance within a group.

ISA Groups

When viewing your Groups, you’ll see an ISA column. Selecting this option designates the Group as an ISA Group.

When an ISA Group is selected in a user scope throughout Sisu, only ISA-related data is displayed. This helps ensure dashboards, reports, and other scoped views accurately reflect ISA performance.

Group Forms

When creating or editing forms, you can restrict visibility to specific Groups. This is configured in Admin > Team Settings > Forms & Fields.

Limiting forms to certain Groups is useful for tracking team-specific data that applies to only some users, without exposing irrelevant fields to everyone else.

Utilizing Groups Throughout Sisu

Once your Groups are created, you can use them almost anywhere a User Scope is available in Sisu. Groups allow you to quickly filter data, focus on specific users, and surface relevant insights without manually selecting users each time.
