User Roles & How To Add Users

Written by Kayla Latta

The information in this article is intended for Admin and TC users within Sisu.

Admin and TC users can add users to their Sisu roster at any time, either individually or in bulk. This article also covers user roles, along with the preferences and view restrictions associated with each role.

Topics in this article:

User Roles

Sisu offers four user roles, each with different levels of access and visibility across the platform.

Admin

Admins have full access to all areas of Sisu Next. This includes system settings, reporting, user management, and all transaction data.

Transaction Coordinator (TC)

Transaction Coordinators have nearly the same access as Admins, with one key limitation: by default they do not have access to the Income Report. This allows TCs to manage transactions and workflows without visibility into sensitive financial reporting.

Inside Sales Agent (ISA)

ISAs have access to all transaction data, allowing them to create, update, and manage transactions as needed. They do not have access to Admin functionality.

Agent

Agents can view their own data and may have limited visibility into team data, depending on team settings. They do not have access to Admin functionality.

How To Add Users

Users can be added to your Sisu roster individually or in bulk.

To add users in bulk, check out our KB article on importing users. 📙

To add users individually, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to Admin > Users

  2. Click the Add New User button.

⚠️ If you're unable to add a new user because you're out of user licenses, but unsure how to increase licenses, check out this KB article. 📙

Fields marked with a red asterisk are required for user creation.

How Permissions & Settings Impact User Access

User roles determine a user’s baseline access in Sisu. However, additional settings can further customize what users can see and do.

These settings allow Admins to:

  • Restrict access to financial data (like GCI and Income Reports)

  • Control visibility of dashboards and reports

  • Limit or expand actions Agents and ISAs can take on transactions

  • Manage document and task permissions
